Marriage and Family Counselling Services 
Family Therapy
The clinic provides a professional counselling service for individuals, families and groups in northern Brisbane and surrounding areas. The clinic focuses on family therapy, relationship counselling and the professional supervision of counsellors and human service workers. Group support sessions can also be organised and facilitated by clinic staff. Reflecting teams are generally used in the therapy sessions. This clinic is not psychiatrically or medically based and is unable to give advice on psychiatric or medical aspects of problems. One of the major strengths of the clinic is the provision of professional supervision and training for counsellors and a wide variety of human service personnel. Counselling fees are charged at a set rate.

Kinections
Kinections is a not for profit organisation who offer counselling and education programs for individuals, families, businesses and communities. Kinections is particularly focused on providing culturally sensitive and inclusive programs for the community. Kinections provides a range of family services and community services including child and family relationship counselling, marriage relationship, education and counselling, domestic/family violence counselling and group programs, professional development programs, multicultural counselling services and community service obligations.

Lifeline - Brisbane
Lifeline Brisbane offers face to face counselling for individuals and couples as well as providing group programs on issues such as sexual abuse (refer to Resilient Womens Program Listing). Counselling services are by appointment and are free, although a donation may be offered. Crisis counselling is available on the Lifeline National Telephone Counselling Line 24 hours a day.

Lifeline - Capalaba
Lifeline Redlands offers child, adolescent, family, relationship, personal and financial counselling. Group programs are provided covering a range of topics. This counselling is available for issues such as parenting concerns, child and adolescent behaviours, family conflict, relationships, domestic violence, grief, trauma, abuse and financial debt. All services require an appointment. Services are free of charge but donations are gratefully accepted. Crisis counselling is available on the Lifeline National Crisis Counselling Line 24 hours a day.

Mens Information
The Men's Information and Support Association was established with the purpose of providing men with a safe, supportive, caring environment in which to talk about issues and problems which may be of concern to them. MISA provides information, support and counselling and employs qualified counsellors and psychologists. The Association also conducts anger management courses and PPP parenting courses.

Parenting SA
Parenting SA is an initiative of the Government of South Australia established in 1996 to promote the value of parents and the important role of parenting.

Partnerships Against Domestic Violence (Partnerships) is a Commonwealth Government initiative, working with State & Territory governments, the community & business to find better ways of preventing & responding to domestic violence.

Project Circuit Breaker
Mission Australia's Project Circuit Breaker (PCB) is a free and mobile early intervention and intervention service. PCB offers support to families with young people (10 - 16 years old) on Brisbane's northside, who are experiencing conflict and who want to make changes to their lives. The Queensland Department of Communities, through the Future Directions early Intervention and Prevention Initiative, funds the service. PCB's team has developed a wide range of collaborative partnerships in community and government to support our clients better.

Relationships Aust
Relationships Australia is a community-based organisation that has no religious affiliation. Services may vary from centre to centre. Some programs are only partially funded by State and Federal Government and fees may be charged. Relationships Australia offer the following services: * Individual, couple and family relationship counselling and education including pre-marriage, * Separation and mediation services, * Gambling help service, * Domestic and family violence prevention services, * Victims counselling and support services 1300 139 703 * Rural family solutions (for rural and remote families), * Aftercare Resource Centre (for former residents of State-run institutions), * Children's Contact Service (Cairns and Townsville only), * Contact Orders Program (South-East Queensland only). Relationships Australia provides services in the following Queensland locations: Airlie Beach, Bowen, Bundaberg, Cairns, Caloundra, Gladstone, Gold Coast (Southport, Mermaid Beach, Palm Beach), Gympie, Hervey Bay, Ipswich, Logan, Mackay, Mt Gravatt, Noosaville, Redlands, Rockhampton, Spring Hill, Strathpine, Toowoomba, Townsville, West End and Windsor.
