Welcome to ACROSSnet The ACROSSnet (Australians Creating Rural Online Support Systems) web site aims to help members of rural and remote communities to access information, education and support regarding suicide and its prevention. ACROSSnet is a Queensland based pilot specially designed for rapid downloading for rural Australians.

Service Leadership and Innovation Research Program, QLD University of Technology

The development of ACROSSnet was supported by an Australian Research Council Linkage grant. The project partners were the Service Leadership and Innovation Research Program (Queensland University of Technology), The Australian Institute for Suicide Research and Prevention (Griffith University), The Centre for Online Health (The University of Queensland), Queensland Government Youth Suicide Prevention Strategy (a whole-of-government initiative designed to address the issue of youth suicide prevention, including Queensland Health, Education Queensland, and the departments of Families, the Premier and Cabinet, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Policy), Kids Help Line, Lifeline, and the Senior's Interest Unit, Department of Families (QLD).
