Can I suggest a resource to be added to the database?

Yes. The ACROSSnet team is always looking for new resources to add to the database. If you know of a resource that would interest other users of the ACROSSnet web site please let us know.

How do I suggest a resource to be added to the database?

You can suggest a new resource for the ACROSSnet website by clicking on the 'suggest' link above or at the top right hand corner of the home page. A resource can be a document (e.g. book, journal article, report etc.), a web site, a service or an organisation. You will be asked to provide as many details as you can about the resource. The more information you provide the easier it will be for the ACROSSnet team to determine whether the resource is appropriate for inclusion on the web site.

I suggested a resource to be added to the database but it doesn't seem to be there. What has happened to my suggestion?

Any resources that are suggested for inclusion on the ACROSSnet website are checked against the site criteria before they are included in the database. This may take a little while. Your suggestion may still be being processed. Alternatively, if the ACROSSnet team have not been able to find sufficient information on a suggested resource to make sure it is appropriate for inclusion on the site or if the resource does not meet the quality criteria for inclusion on the database, we can not accept the resource into the ACROSSnet database. If you have provided us with your email address when suggesting the resource, we will keep you up to date with the progress of your suggestion.
