The Victims Counselling and Support Services (VCSS) is provided by Relationships Australia and is funded through the Queensland Government Department of Communities for the people of Queensland. VCSS provides a 24 hour telephone referral service and information line for those affected by crime. In addition, we provide a range of counselling and support services to assist people whose lives have been impacted by crime to try to resume their lives. Counsellors are qualified and experienced in providing support to people affected by crime and have received training specific to VCSS. In addition, all services are provided under strict ethical and confidential guidelines ensuring the privacy of all who access the service. Relationships Australia provides services in the following Queensland locations: Airlie Beach, Bowen, Bundaberg, Cairns, Caloundra, Gladstone, Gold Coast (Southport, Mermaid Beach, Palm Beach), Gympie, Hervey Bay, Ipswich, Logan, Mackay, Mt Gravatt, Noosaville, Redlands, Rockhampton, Spring Hill, Strathpine, Toowoomba, Townsville, West End and Windsor.
